Went to San O' last weekend, sick with the flu. After checking Surfline.com I knew it would be small but I was greeted with a thick blanket of fog and what looked to be Red Tide. Dreaded Red Tide! It's bloody red. I viewed the line-up from the windy bluffs and said....Na!..and went back home to rest.
I have not been able to surf lately, no waves. This Sucks! Fishing sucks too, and I'm sick in the head. Today is November 05, 2011, and there are waves out there, but I am suffering from Hemophilus influenza, which is a bacterium that colonizes after the initial atack of Influenza virus, and I am sleeping a lot in order to help my body recover. Drinking chicken soup today, I might still make it out to the coast.
There are big Halibut wandering around Doheny, I feel it. Don't ask me why, usually after a big storm the fish are in deep water, but something in my bones tells me....Go Fish!
